Block Bee legal BETA

Block Bee is a puzzle game made by MASONBYTE LLC of Accokeek, Maryland, for players 16 and over. It is in beta: levels, rewards and saved progress can change or reset while we build it.

Terms of use

Block Bee's full Terms of Use are being prepared. MASONBYTE LLC will adopt them, publish them on this page and list them with its other apps' terms on masonbyte.com. Until then, during the beta:

The game is free to play.
Purchases are not open. Invited testers may try test hive packs; they cost nothing and carry no value.
Nectar, specials and looks are game items. They have no cash value and can't be sold or exchanged.
We may change, rebalance or reset levels, rewards and progress as the game develops.

Privacy

Block Bee's Privacy Policy has its own page. In short: no accounts, your progress stays in your browser, and, if you tap Allow, each level you finish sends one anonymous line about how it went, which you can turn off with Share play data in the map's settings. Those lines are deleted after 12 months. Google Analytics runs only if you tap Allow.

Play fair

No cheats, bots, modified games or exploits. We may reset rewards and scores that weren't earned in play.
When leaderboards and display names open, keep names respectful: no slurs, threats, impersonation or contact details.
Found a bug or a way to cheat? Tell us instead of using it.

These are the rules for players. MASONBYTE LLC, which makes Block Bee, holds itself, its staff and its suppliers to its own Code of Conduct.

Copyright and ownership

The game, its code, levels, art, music, sounds, voice lines and words belong to MASONBYTE LLC, apart from the open-source parts below.
The Block Bee name and logo identify MASONBYTE LLC's game. Don't use them for another app or game.
You may play Block Bee and share links to it. You may not copy, download for reuse, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer it, or publish it or anything made from it, in an app store or anywhere else, without MASONBYTE LLC's written permission.

Open-source parts: the Phaser game engine, Capacitor in the store app and Sentry's error reporter (each under the MIT licence), and the Bricolage Grotesque and Figtree fonts (SIL Open Font License 1.1). Each keeps its own licence: the full texts.
